Welcome to the Asheville Literary Society and Social Club. You are receiving this because you are a friend and/or you’ve expressed interest in hearing more about literary and cultural events in Asheville. We would love for you to join us for author conversations, intimate gatherings, and exclusive opportunities to connect and converse with Asheville's culturally curious. First up is Beatriz Williams this Saturday, July 13th at 5pm at the Barnes & Noble in Biltmore Park. Maia will be talking with her about Husbands & Lovers which neither of us could put down and everyone is talking about. Although the event is free, we’d love to know if you are joining us so we have enough chairs to support her many fans. 

On August 14th we’re co-sponsoring the return of Frances Mayes (Under the Tuscan Sun) to Asheville along with Malaprop’s, Blue Ridge Public Radio, and Citizen Vinyl. We’re most excited to read her latest novel, A Great Marriage, and expect this to sell out. So click here for more information and tickets to secure your seat and your signed hardcover book.
